Setting up: 04/2012
A civil law partnership
is established
and the partners purchase the first film extrusion machine. The beginnings are difficult, the partners, by trial and error method, pave the way in the production of stretch film made of regranulate. What previously seemed impossible becomes a reality. Film production is stabilized.
Transformation: 10/2015
The owners change
the form of business
activity and in November 2015 the registry court confirms the transformation of a civil law partnership into a limited liability company.
In December 2015 the staff is expanded by the first employees. At the turn of 2015 and 2016, the sales of film and the first ideas for the development of the company began to evolve.
I grant application: November 2015
The first application
for EU funding
is being submitted as part of the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020. The project aims to 'Introduce a product innovation in the form of fully ecological upcycling stretch film. Settlement of the project takes place between March and June 2016. As part of the funding, the company is purchasing another machine for film extrusion (production) and a machine for rewinding the film.

Another group of qualified employees
in the area of production and sales joins
the company, thanks to them the company has the opportunity to increase efficiency
and sales markets in the coming years.
II grant application: February 2018
Submitting another application for EU funding
within the Smart Growth Operational Program, priority axis 3 Support for innovation in enterprises, Measure 3.2 Support for the implementation of R&D results, Sub-measure 3.2.1 Market research. The new project aims to “Introduce to the market an innovative film for silage with an active coating that accelerates ensiling”. As part of the project, recycling department, which guarantees the company its own regranulate, i.e., the basic and main raw material for the production of film.
Sales development: in the years 2019 - 2022
The company successfully conquers the Polish and foreign markets
by offering high-quality ecological film based on own regranulate, in the production of which the company significantly controls the quality of the raw material, which translates into
a very good quality of the film offered for
the so-called silage.
CERTIFICATION: in February 2022
Folgos receives the first EuCertPlast certificate
confirming the company’s membership in the group of European Recyclers. It gives suppliers and customers confidence that any plastic waste they supply will be recycled
in accordance with best practice, in an environmentally friendly manner, in accordance with the relevant legal requirements of the EU country.
EuCertPlast and RecyClass: February 2023
Another audit and obtaining the EuCertPlast certificate
March 2023 – successfully completed audit and confirmation of the recyclate content in the silage film at the level of at least 90% in the form of the RecyClass certificate. The goal of RecyClass Recycling Process Certificate is
to identify the plastics recycling processes for pre- and post-consumer waste that take place at the plant in accordance with the requirements set out in the Recycling Process Conformity Assessment Scheme.
III grant application: in July 2023
FOLGOS submitted another application for co-financing
the project concerning the launch of an innovative stretch film produced entirely on the carrier of the unique Folgos recyclate with a molecular additive within the Programme: European Funds for Modern Economy, Priority Support for entrepreneurs, Action SMART PATH.
